Stephanie Flax

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT & OFFICE MANAGER

Stephanie’s professional experiences have crisscrossed between the corporate and nonprofit sectors. She most recently held the position of Scholarship and Program Coordinator at National Council of Jewish Women / Los Angeles where she built strong relationships with community partners through scholarship, clothing voucher, and training programs. 

Prior to that, Stephanie was Community and Recruitment Director at Colors LGBTQ Youth Counseling Center, an organization that provides free, affirmative counseling to Los Angeles youth and their families. Stephanie has also held the positions of Activities and Volunteer Coordinator and Memory Care Coordinator at Sunrise Senior Living where she oversaw volunteer on-boarding, training, and supervision for an engaging senior resident centered activity program and managed the direct personal care of seniors living with Alzheimer’s, respectively.

In her role as Executive Assistant at Fundamental, she primarily supports Fundamental’s President, Rachel Levin while also managing the administrative needs of the office. Stephanie is proud to be an integral part of a team dedicated to making social change. Stephanie has a Master of Arts in Non-Profit Management from Antioch University.
