Danielle Lara

Grants Management and Operations Coordinator

Danielle believes in the power of philanthropy to make meaningful, lasting change when done courageously, committedly, and creatively. As Fundamental’s Grants Management and Operations Coordinator, she helps our nonprofit partners receive the resources they need to positively impact the communities they serve. Using her previous experience as a grant-writer, she also aims to improve the grantmaking process while effectively stewarding grants throughout their lifecycle. 

Danielle previously served as Chair of the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) Committee for the Association of Fundraising Professionals for the Greater Los Angeles Chapter, where she advocated for the empowerment and advancement of communities of color in the nonprofit sector.

Danielle is a Chicana social worker with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California.
